On behalf of my husband and myself, I just wanted to say a massive THANK YOU to the bus drivers and conductors who took us around this past Saturday. The wedding guests all loved the surprise bus ride and a fabulous time was had by all. A special hat tip to the bus drivers, as traffic was a little slow going but they still took us around some key spots we requested for and we - alongside our guests - were ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTED by the sight of Picaddilly Circus, Westminster, Trafalgar Square etc. as we passed by. Truly one of the many highlights of our day. Thank you to you and your team for being so responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. Just knowing that we had Ensignbus in our corner took a ton of the potential wedding stress out. We just knew we didn't have to worry about the bus hire portion because we were in great hands.

Sorry I did mean to send you an email sooner just to say what a wonderful service we received from you and Paul our driver, the bus was perfect and my brother had a great time, he really enjoyed the experience as he hasn't been able to travel on a bus for about 8 years due to his disabilities.
Paul was very accommodating and extremely helpful he is a credit to your company. It was such a great day we are already looking to do another tour soon, perhaps just after Christmas whilst the days are short so that we can experience the sights of London after dark.

We hired two of your buses yesterday [Friday 1 April 2016] from Brentwood Cathedral to Crondon Park Golf& Country Club.
We couldn't have wished for better. The buses were there on time, clean and ribboned up. Your staff were fantastic, nothing was too much effort for them. We had Guests attending from Australia, USA, Greece and Canada. All of them were excited to travel on an old London bus. (Me as well) So it's a big thank you from all of us and hope you pass our gratitude on to your staff on the day. Can't think why I never got their names.
I expect I will be along at some stage with the London Bus Club to have another look round. Never get tired of that.

Good Morning, I feel that I must drop you a brief email re last Fridays bus hire for my daughters wedding at Great Yeldham. The day was amazing and went without a single hitch. The bus really added to the day and went down a storm with everybody, but particularly with the Grooms side of the party who had come over from Ireland.

I would like to thank you for the part you all played in the successful running of the Capgemini Aspire Awards weekend in London. The Routemaster ‘Big Red’ Bus was amazing and the feedback from so many of the guests was that it was a fantastic surprise and a lovely touch for the evening.
Jimmy our conductor was amazing, as was our driver for the evening – apologies I can’t remember his name! They arrived at The Landmark Hotel in plenty of time and contacted me to come and meet with him so we could run through the programme for the evening.

I have been inundated with positive comments from the guests to my daughter's wedding on Saturday. I got to the venue at 10.30am to find the bus already there ready to undertake a test run. As a result of this, and the conversation I had with the office on Thursday, the bus not only delivered the guests to the registry office but then picked up the bridal party from my house. This involved a masterly piece of driving, reversing the bus up a narrow road to reach the driveway. When the bus reappeared after the ceremony with blind changed from 'Congratulations' to 'Just Married' the reaction was one of amazement. When the bridal party left on the second run back to the venue, singing' The wheels on the Bus' (The Bride is a Nanny) even the conductor was joining in.
Back at the venue the bus posed for pictures and your staff could not have been more helpful. They even permitted me to store a quantity of bottled water under the stairs which was greatly appreciated by the guests as the weather was beautiful but warm. I gave your team a bottle of fizz to celebrate on their return to Thurrock and this they richly deserved.
The guests appreciated the excellent condition of RM1361 and the original posters which bought back memories for them. It took all the stress out of the day and I would strongly recommend this option to anyone planning a wedding over two locations. I expect to generate a few referrals for you as a result of the day.
The official photographer took some interesting pictures involving the bridal party with the bus and he will be forwarding these directly to you. I am attaching a couple to just give a flavour of the day.

such a relief to spot it already discretely pulled up around the corner before I even went in for the service! Your driver and conductor were
wonderful - they couldn't have got the bus any closer to the church entrance and were so friendly and helpful when we were loading on. They
really made our guests feel welcome and very relaxed, and allowed our ushers to get around during the journey to serve drinks etc. My 84
year-old grandmother was particularly worried about this part of the day, but in actual fact it was a real highlight for her - the bus was

We had a little exchange probably about 12 months ago now, when I first discovered Ensign had a fleet of Routemasters, I had said I'd remembered Ensign perhaps 20 or more years ago had lent a member of the local Institute of Advanced Motorists with whom I was involved at the time, and who had passed his bus test, a bus to take us all down to Brighton. You'd kindly replied that that was no longer possible but that if I were to apply to join the company, for perhaps a summer job, I might get the opportunity to drive one. I've kept hold of your papers but not followed it up due to time constraints, and practicality - living in Ireland.
But with you in mind, on the recent news of my fathers sudden death, and all of the plans that had to be made, and again being remote, when the family were discussing transport at the funeral, because a very large group would be coming from here and need it, I suggested they enquire of you the feasibility of a Routemaster. As I'd said to you before, a bus I was almost brought up on with trips with Dad the length and breadth of London. They were a little sceptical at first but with time, and a competitive price, grew to like the idea.
And I wanted to say personally, what a huge success it was, and a sincere thank you to the company, and Steve, I think the drivers name was, in particular. My sister Louise will have been dealing with all of the formalities, and I had to return home very shortly thereafter. Everyone agreed what an apprpriate accompaniment to the hearse for a London bus to escorst Dad to the cemetery. And it looked so regal parked up next to Weswtminster Cathedral. I was delighted when the funeral director jumped out and took a photograph, and I think your business card, so hopefully more funeral business will come your way. Unfortunately I didn't get to ride on the bus, but everyone who did had a great time, again reminiscing on their own journeys with Dad over the years. Please God some other time, and perhaps I will get down to applying to join you some time.

Sorry it has taken a while for us to email but life has flown by since Nina & Dale's wedding day and we are only just getting into a routine albeit coming down with quite a bump! We just wanted to say a very big thank you for all your help when we were looking to book a bus for the wedding on 11th April from Sawbridgeworth to Blake Hall.
Their wedding day was wonderful and it was enhanced by the super Routemaster and your very pleasant and obliging staff. As Dale's family and friends all came from Herefordshire and also for us having family visit from the U.S the London bus was a great novelty and quite a talking point. Everyone loved the bus tickets which have become novel keepsakes. So thank you again and please pass on our thanks to your very nice staff.

You won't remember me. We had a little exchange probably about 12 months ago now, when I first discovered Ensign had a fleet of Routemasters, I had said I'd remembered Ensign perhaps 20 or more years ago had lent a member of the local Institute of Advanced Motorists with whom I was involved at the time, and who had passed his bus test, a bus to take us all down to Brighton. You'd kindly replied that that was no longer possible but that if I were to apply to join the company, for perhaps a summer job, I might get the opportunity to drive one. I've kept hold of your papers but not followed it up due to time constraints, and practicality - living in Ireland.
But with you in mind, on the recent news of my fathers sudden death, and all of the plans that had to be made, and again being remote, when the family were discussing transport at the funeral, because a very large group would be coming from here and need it, I suggested they enquire of you the feasibility of a Routemaster. As I'd said to you before, a bus I was almost brought up on with trips with Dad the length and breadth of London. They were a little sceptical at first but with time, and a competitive price, grew to like the idea.
And I wanted to say personally, what a huge success it was, and a sincere thank you to the company, and Steve, I think the drivers name was, in particular. My sister Louise will have been dealing with all of the formalities, and I had to return home very shortly thereafter. Everyone agreed what an apprpriate accompaniment to the hearse for a London bus to escorst Dad to the cemetery. And it looked so regal parked up next to Weswtminster Cathedral. I was delighted when the funeral director jumped out and took a photograph, and I think your business card, so hopefully more funeral business will come your way. Unfortunately I didn't get to ride on the bus, but everyone who did had a great time, again reminiscing on their own journeys with Dad over the years. Please God some other time, and perhaps I will get down to applying to join you some time.

I just wanted to write and say a big thank you to you and Steve for your support in the loan of the Routemaster over the past two weekends.
